Chloe's Birth Story.

CHLOE .enters the world.

February 21st 2008.

So it was a Thursday night and i was booked in for my regular appointment with my nurse, that night she told me our baby was engaged and would be out soon, Alex had to go away the next night with the army, so we asked the nurse if he should stay home Incase but she said no the baby might not come for a few weeks yet (boy was she wrong)

That night i went to bed praying my baby would come because i didn't want Alex to go away for the weekend.. it was his first real trip away , and i was going to miss him so much. lol so i sneakily prayed before i went to bed hehe.

So the next morning i wake up to say goodbye to alex and then i go back to bed =[

Until suddenly i felt like somebody had punched me from the inside of my vagina and i woke up in a puddle of water :s

i didnt know if i had wet myself or if my water had broken, so i grab my sheet and smelt it.. haha.. it didnt have a smell to it so i know it wasnt wee ( thank god)

i ran into mum and told her to smell it and she said said my waters must have broken, so she starts freaking out.. we finally get to the hospital for them to tell me id have to go home beacuse the baby wasnt ready yet, if she didnt come that night they were going to induce me at 8am the next morning..

so i go home and start telling all my friends and family.. i called my sister who was at work, and she told me she had a dream the night before that id call her when she was on the bus and tell her im in labour.. and thats exactly what had happened =] that was very strange.

So a few hours pass and still no contractions, just alot of water still coming out ( turns out thats why my belly was so big, beacause of all the fluid not beacuase of the 10pound baby everybody thought id have)

So i went and straightend my hair and did my make up while i waited =]

Came to about 3:30pm and finally the contractions started i was soo excited they came so fast and next thing we knew .. i was off to the hospital again.. so i call alex to let him know.. and he was lierally just about to get on the plane :0 thank god i called him when i did otherwise he would have missed the whole thing.

He made it to the hospital in no time, i just remember seeing him coming thru the doors and i bursted out in tears.. im still not sure why i did lol. was a very strange moment.

The whole time i was at the hospital i had this one nurse who was an absoloute Biatch to me she was so damn rude.

She preformed my first internal. it was the worst pain i have ever experienced.. even worse then the contractions i was in so much pain..

after she had finished the internal she went on to tell myself and alex that our baby had a lump on its head :s we didnt know what to think , she didnt explain at all she just walked out..

I was in so much pain after and the contractions were coming faster by then so i was put into the my own room.. i tried to have a spa to relieve the pain but boy was i wrong it made it so much worse..

By now it was about 10pm i had kicked my sister and mum out of the room because i couldnt stand people watching me in so much pain.

The pains had gotten so bad that i was left in the room screaming, i just remember thinking that i just wanted to die.. i had a lil gas but it done nothing but make me feel tipsy..

i must have screamed so loud because the next thing i know a nurse and doctor come running in ( yes the same bitchy nurse as before) she then went on to prefrom another internal... oh oh oh and to her suprise she then realises that she was actually touching our babys BUM not her head.. and it wasnt a lump she was feeling ( the stupid woman i could of kicked her in the head if i wasnt in so much pain)

The doctor then runs out and grabs a ultrasound machine and comfirm that our baby was infact breech..

At around 11pm i was rushed into the operating room. i was so happy until i had to get my needles, this was the worst experience i had ever experienced, when a contraction would come i had to arch foward while they gave me i think about 4 needles up my spine.. finally they had put them all in and i was all ready to be cut open =]

Was such a strange experience i remember laying there while they were cutting me open and they were just talking to each other like a normal day converstion it kind of relaxed me in away.. lol then i had this strange erge to peak over the sheet thing they put up.. i have never seen nurses jump and run so fast in there lives haha.. made me giggle =]

so 6hrs of labour later & 3weeks before her due date ,Chloe lee brown came into the world..

22.2.2008 At 11:27pm weighing in at 6pd 7oz , 49cm long.

and almost 2 years on i can still remember every part of my story =]
